The role of the student counsellor is to mediate in conflicts, both between students and between students and staff of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The press office looks after how the university presents itself to the outside world.
The staff keep the website up to date, run social media channels, organise events such as the company contact fair or the graduation ceremony and take care of brochures and information material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

University senate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The task of the senate is to develop recommendations for the academic development of the university. Alongside representatives of the professors and of the academic and non-academic staff, the student body also has a voting representative in the senate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The examination board makes sure the examination regulations are observed. It decides in case of disputes about examination procedures. If you have a concern for the board, submit it informally in writing by email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wedeler Hochschulbund e.V. (WHB)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The WHB is the support association of our university. Its members are companies, staff and graduates of the FH, the business forums and private individuals. Among other things, the WHB grants interest-free loans during bachelor and master studies, which are repaid after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The requirements are financial hardship, good grades and no entitlement to BAf\u00f6G. The WHB also supports the library, various events and the AStA, and awards prizes for outstanding theses.
