How do I get to the university by bus and train?

The nearest bus stop at FH Wedel is called „Wedel, Fachhochschule“ and is served by line 189. The bus line stops at the S-Bahn stations „Blankenese“ and „Wedel“ on the S1 and can be reached from there.

How much does a monthly HVV pass cost?

As a student or pupil at FH/PTL Wedel you unfortunately do not get a semester ticketfor the HVV (Hamburg transport network), unlike at other universities.

However, the secretariat can issue you a certificate that gets you a discount on a regular HVV subscription. For the trip to the university you need zone AB.
